I have been thinking about how relationship can occur in what appears to be the empty space between us. When we are not together in the room but in our thoughts and ideas about each other.

I suppose that whenever there’s an empty space between “us,” we’ll fill it up with up with thoughts, feelings, ideas and impulses. But what if we could relate in a way that there was no empty space, no self or other? That would be something!

I call that “the silence between the notes”. I love your image, showing the space and the “pause in the music”.
I find the same “quiet” with my horses too, only their energy bubble is huge!

Hope your new location is bringing you peace!

We’ve lived far away from each other for over 20 years now, so that’s a lot of time & space. Yet it doesn’t make you any less dear to me! Love you!
