teshuvah: return
Over the last year, I have been discovering a deep connection to my Jewish roots. During the High Holy Days, the community turns inward to tap back into what’s most important in their lives. I took the opportunity to dive in deep and it has been rewarding. I can’t think of a more cleansing way to bring in the new year.
elul retreat sketchbook
I went to a Jewish meditation retreat a week ago. It was like adult Jewish camp for the spiritually inclined. I’m trying to figure out what to say about it but maybe the idea that a picture is worth a thousands words might apply here.
